Our lively and hospitable Hakuba ski lodge is just 200 metres from the Sakka ski lifts at the foot of Happo One - the world famous slopes that hosted the 1998 Winter Olympics.

Overlooking a natural canyon with lush forest surrounding the property, Penke Panke is a modern Japanese ski lodge that provides guests with comfortable rooms and great service. Penke Panke is just steps from the shops, bars and restaurants of Wadano Village making it the perfect place to stay both on and off the slopes.

Penke Panke Lodge has 20 guest rooms in 3 buildings, offering accommodation that ranges from budget backpacker dorm-style rooms to self-contained ski apartments with private bathrooms and fully-equipped kitchens. We also have affordable double, twin and triple rooms with shared or private bathrooms. Most of our spacious rooms also include a sitting area.

We serve a delicious breakfast to our guests to help them start their day on the slopes right. A modern communal kitchen and dining lounge is also available during your stay.

In addition to being next to some of the best ski slopes in Japan, Hakuba Snowboard and ski guests will appreciate the snowboard and ski drying room and snowboarding and skiing workshops we offer at Penke Panke Lodge.

Snow sport enthusiasts who want to explore the Hakuba Valley can take a shuttle bus from Penke Panke to the Goryu ski area, Iwatake ski area and other locations in Hakuba Valley.
